WARNER MUSIC JAPAN 40th Anniversary: the brilliant green's "Live" performance ... or not entirely !
First of all "HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011" to all of you: best wishes for you, your family and your friends ! ^_~

Then, here is a video of this event which occurred at the Tokyo's Budokan arena on 31 October 2010, in which the brilliant green were one of the artists celebrating a live for the 40 years of Warner Music Japan. Buriguri's tracklist was only composed of 2 songs: "There will be love there" and "LIKE YESTERDAY".

To be honest this "Live" is disappointing because the instruments played by Shunsaku (guitar), James (bass) and JJ (drums) turn to be some crappy playback !! Only Tommy singing is live and hopefully it's correct !
This show really confirms that those 2 guys are only fake members.

Here is the video:

enjoy it as much as you can (we don't know when we will see buriguri again one day -_- ...) and thanks to its YouTube owner ! ^_~

As a matter of interest just know that before this show was broadcasted on TV around the end of November, I have posted 2 comments on JJ's blog on one of his topics about this event. I asked him if it was true all what I have read on 2chan and all this playback case: his only answers were to delete my first message and to ignore the second one !!
At this moment I thought that a true artist would have admitted without ANY problem that he was on playback on stage, but with him that was not the case apparently.

It really worries me to see an "artist" like him working with buri and Tommy, how is it possible ? -_-'

Why do you post things about Buriguri and Tommy with such negativity? Not that you have to love everything they do, but if you don't like them, why bother being apart of the community at all? I just don't understand. Just seems like a lot of wasted time and energy on your part if you don't like them. Why not focus on things you do like instead? And if you do in fact like Tommy and Buri, you sure have a weird way of expressing it.

I think this live sounded really nice. The band is going through some changes, I guess, just like any band would after having been together so long, but they still sound very good and I wish them all the best in whatever they do.

When I love people I tell them when they are wrong or doing stupidities. I don't turn back and let them on this situation without I help them ... not like you are telling me to do ! ^_~

I didn't say that at all. In fact, I said that you don't have to love everything they do. That's ok. And in fact, it's best if you can recognize when you dislike something about a person or band that you like. No person or band is perfect so it's good when people can recognize this. But you always seem to be negative so it confuses me if you like Buri and Tommy or not. Are you unhappy w/the changes in the band (Ryo leaving and all that)? It's understandable to be unhappy after a member leaves. But you always seem to pick on the bad parts and put things in a negative perspective so it's hard to tell if you really like them or are just trying to be negative. :\

To me it's pretty clear that he or she likes Buriguri but although the 'live performance' sounded ok they're unhappy about how the things have been lately in the band, that the tracklist was only composed of 2 songs, that all the members aren't as talented as Tomoko and that the future of the band is … well, let's say the best years of the band seem to be behind them.

And I think it's reasonnable to express this kind of thoughts, the community doesn't have to be a shrine, we can discuss everything that is tommy/buri-related being said things like "why bother being apart of the community at all?", like you want to make them feel guilty for no reason.

À bon entendeur.

without being said*

As you pointed out this is exactly what I feel.
And totally agree with the fact that people can also express their thoughts even if they aren't always positives, damn ... this is for the goodness of the brilliant green to say what we don't like or what is not good for them !

Maybe the fact to react like this it's typical of a french way of thinking ! ^_^'

kilixkilix on January 10th, 2011 10:09 pm (UTC)

I can't even imagine the disappointment of the fans who paid their ticket around 7000-8000 Yens for only 10-20 minutes of show if they have only gone for the brilliant green's performance ! O_O
